Have not been paid but buyer says she sent money. What do I do now.
Auction ended on Sunday. Sent invoice to buyer. She emailed me that she paid. eBay does not show that I have been paid. How do I confirm she paid?

If a transaction is paid for it will be in this file: Orders — eBay Seller Hub
Take a screen shot of that file and attach it to an eBay message to the Buyer letting them know while they may have paid eBay, eBay has not paid you for the item. Then wait.
The other place a transaction is recorded is on this page, check the Recent activity report on the right side of the page: Seller Hub | Your financial summary | eBay

OP2 years agoThe buyer of my Tiffany mug had me send it to her friend. The USPS tried to deliver it but the receptacle was full. They left a message for her to redeliver or pick it up. She has not done so. I have sent several messages to the buyer to have the package picked up but she is not responding to my emails. This was shipped on 2/21.
What should I do next? Have never had this happen before. I know I won't get paid until it is delivered.

Mentor2 years agoThe USPS will make 3 attempts at delivery. If the package is never picked up, it will be sent back to you. When you get the item back, if the seller wants the item resent, she will have to repay to reship. Send her your Paypal email address and the buyer can use her Paypal account to SEND MONEY. You can then print a shipping label using ebay. If the seller doesn't want to pay to reship, you can refund just the item cost.

No bother at all and in addition to what @disneyshopper has shared you need to know that you are at risk shipping to an address other than the one provided at the time of the purchase. If the Buyer files a claim that they did not receive the package you will lose the claim.
The note about the "receptacle" being full is strange ... wonder what that address was to?

OP2 years agoThe address is in Nye, MT. The buyer's address is also Nye, MT. The post office tried to deliver it and left a message to ask for a redelivery or pick it up at the post office. The post office note says that they will return to sender if not picked up by 3/6.
I questioned the different name, but the buyer said it was her best friend and she wanted to send her the gift. Trying to be nice. First time I did that but never again. She won't respond to my emails.
I stopped selling on ebay about 15 years ago and just restarted again. Some of the rules have changed. Thanks for your info and help.
