Has eBay scammed you?
I sold a 49ers Jersey the man came to my home my husband brought it out to him he was in the park lot of or apartment complex and now eBay is saying I sold it and mailed it to someone else which never happened!!! I asked the so called buyer he said he never bought it but eBay is saying the buyer said he opened the package and the item was not in it. I never mailed anything to anyone eBay I think is the one scamming because they owe me $38 we have cameras in the parking lot to prove my husband took it to the man's car!! I'm filing a police report and suing the person who said they bought it and eBay for scamming me. I will sell anything on eBay again. Someone is scamming her the police will find out as soon as I file charges and make a report. eBay you better fix it now. I will be posting it all over social media and expose the so called buyer and eBay for the scam.

I think you allowed the Buyer to scam you, because you or your husband did not have the buyer scan the QR code or enter the 6 digit one they received when they picked up the jersey, which would have proven the buyer received it to ebay.

I would file a police report for fraud and/or theft against the buyer, but there is no lawsuit you can file against ebay, since the info in the link above is available on the site.
AS for slamming ebay on social media, someone familiar with how local pickup works on ebay may see the post, and respond posting what I have written.
You may be able to get the dispute dropped by going to one of ebay's social media platforms. (links below) but first file the Police report and scan or photograph it. then using the private message option for the SM site you choose, start with the ebay item number then the buyer's username and real one if yuo have it, write out what happened,
the buyer picked up the Jersey but neither of the codes was entered. Now they have filed an item not received dispute, if there is an ebay dispute number number post that so the rep can see it. Then attach the video of the transaction, and a scan or clear photo of the police report. sign it with your real and ebay username. The SM reps are ebay employees who have the power to cancel the buyer's claim or over turn it if it is already closed in the buyer's favor and to issue a courtesy refund if needed.
