Has Anyone Had an eBay Social Profile Username Limit Error?
Has anyone else run into this issue while trying to complete an eBay social profile?
My existing eBay username/store name is valid and already active on eBay: violetsvarietiescuratedcollection. However, when I try to save the social profile, the form rejects it because the eBay username field must be 30 characters or less. My username is 33 characters.
The confusing part is that the field appears to be prefilled and locked, so I cannot edit or shorten it within the social profile form. The error also does not appear until after the rest of the profile information has already been entered and the form is rejected.
Has anyone else experienced this, or found a way to complete the social profile without changing an established eBay username/store identity?
