has anyone had a problem using eBay buy guarantee?

Question

seller is trying to send me a different color than what I ordered.

First said he would refund, then said I already shipped then said this is my first time I will try and figure it out.

there is no tracking number and eBay says this does fit their gaurantee policy

does this make sense to anyone?

If you do not receive the item when the estimated date of delivery has passed by at least one day, you can file a Refund Request due to item not received:

If you receive the item but it is not as descrbed, you can file a Return Request:

I have always had success in using Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
