Has anyone else seen Ebay slip?
Hello, I've been on Ebay for 24 years. For the most part I haven't had many bad transactions. Even when I did (maybe 4 times?) Ebay has always made it right. Kudos to Ebay for that. But over the past years I have seen some negative lax of policies I always thought were intact. One is counterfeit items. I have sent proof to Ebay that some sellers are listing items that are 100% NOT what the have them listed. Specifically guitars. Add the sellers that misrepresent the items location. I pay attention to where an item is located simply to account for delivery times. Many times I've purchased an item 2 states away only to get the item with a shipping label on the other side of the country. Or the middle sellers. You purchase something from an Ebay seller and they just order from Amazon and ship it to you. One more, sellers listing $140 items for $550 in the hopes ( I guess) of finding some poor informed buyer. Ebay was much better before they allowed all these scams. Do your homework people. Don't let sellers take advantage of the loopholes. Make Ebay a better marketplace.
