Has anyone else received a bold note at the top of sold auction: AUTO delay the buyer wants to shop
I sold an item and there is a bold note at the top that the buyer has selected autopay on Aug 11 a week from winning the auction. What is this? How do I override this option?

Mentor1 year ago@flamingoroad70. You can't change it for this sale but you can opt out of requiring a payment method from a buyer prior to making a bid . Then the regular 4 days to pay rule applies
Go to selling > buyer requirements in account settings and uncheck the box.

Mentor1 year agoYou don't override it. Many buyers, and sellers, have complained about the auto pay kicking in 1 hour after a sale, when the buyer wants to continue shopping and get a discount on combined shipping. So ebay came up with this option when the seller has other listings up for auction, giving the buyer time to win other auctions and then pay all at one time to take advantage of combined shipping.

OP1 year agoI didn’t have other auctions running. Oh well. I’ll change the settings and see if that clears it up. Thanks for your time!
