Has any seller gotten a " we are sorry , the Agent provided mis-information" message ?
eBay says they monitor and record communications between sellers and their 'seller agents'. Since many have responded back that the ' seller agents' provided mis-information or mis -guidance , has anyone gotten a message from eBay CS supervisors or management team that they listened to a recording of a conversation or chat and the CS agent provided bad information? If not , does that mean , eBay thinks their agents are providing clear and accurate information or does that mean that the "monitoring and recording" is just a phrase that they do not do anymore? Please respond if you did get an apology .

Mentor10 months ago@lordp1 I have not personally received an apology but have seen many instances where a member deserved one.
It's best to ALWAYS ask for help here first unless it really requires account access. We can answer questions about buying and selling including problems with purchases.
An agent can't change the written policy even though they sometimes say they will because that is what the member wants to hear.

OP10 months agoThanks for the response. Maybe someone will chime in next few hours / days and say they got an "our CS got it wrong" message. I dont want CS agents to change written policy and procedure, I prefer that they interpret those accurately when communicating with seller.
