eBay took down my listing for "Harry Potter Time Turner Necklace - 18K Gold Plated Stainless Steel" months ago as a violation of eBay policy. There was no explaination of what policy was violated. I spoke with an eBay rep on the phone and complained there were hundreds of these necklaces just like mine listed listed for sale, she said that they would be removed as they were discovered. I explained that all you have to do is put the item in the Search bar to find them, She did not appreceiate the suggestion and had no specific explanation as to why the item violated an unnamed policy. I think I've been singled out for some reason (eBay member since 2005). I checked the item again today and there are 140 or more items just like mine listed right now, can I/should I relist mine now? If not, why not?

There are many fake unlicensed items like this, so something in the photo or description, valid or not, triggered the take down.

Where did you purchase you item?

@garymann2 The only advice I have is to NOT try to relist it on eBay or you can be suspended. If there is not a product recall for your particular item then you can sell it on another site.

It's like speeding not all listings that violate policy are caught. Some are caught after the item is sold and the listing is canceled.

You can report the other listings using the report option on the listing... click on the ? mark on the lower right of the listing page.

Why was my listing removed/hidden when similar listings are still active?

If your listing is removed or hidden by eBay, you may see similar listings still active on the site. This could be for several reasons:

There may be differences between the two listings that are not obvious
The other seller may be a rights owner or an authorized retailer of the item
A participant in the VeRO program may have asked us to remove your listing but hasn't requested the other listing's removal. These types of removals are only done at the request of the VeRO participant; they are not eBay's decision. Read more about the VeRO Program
Your listing was reported to us, but the other listing was not
