How do I contact eBay about receiving harassing emails from a seller?
Once I managed to actually talk to a human. I do not know how. They directed me to change contact setting that I did not even know existed. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.
The ebay seller is willing to remove my email from their mailing list, but I cannot give the seller my email address due to eBay restrictions. I have tried everything.
If your issue is not one of the 6 listed on the help page, you are totally out of luck.
SOMEONE Please Help or tell me 'how' to get help.

Blocking members works not just for blocking buyers. It also will prevent a seller from sending you eBay messages. Add the sellers user ID to this list> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock
Are you following this seller? If yes then Unfollow them on this page> https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/savedsellers
I think that you said you tried turning off email notices? Double check that ALL boxes are not checked>

If those steps do not help then your best option is going to be to contact customer service on social media so there is not a language barrier.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Select a category that best matches your problem.
3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with. Be brief when you reply to the chat bot.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)
Monday to Sunday 5:00 am to 09:30 pm PST
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

OP6 months agoI tried this. eBay said that it was 'successful' (or something similar). Got another today. 😞
Wish there was an actual way to contact eBay with an issue that does not fall into 1 of there 6 help subjects.

Mentor6 months agoeBay can only help if the messages are coming through eBay. If these are emails from outside of eBay then all you can do is to send them to your spam folder and ignore the user.

OP6 months agoThey are coming 'from' eBay member "grainger" (actual email address is very long). They are going directly to my email, not my messages. The seller has agreed to remove me from their email list, but need my actual email to do that. I have tried everything to give them my email, but eBay does not allow it to go thru, no matter what I do. I can find no way to contact eBay if the issue does not fall into 1 of the 6 help choices that they provide. What a terrible setup. 😡
I get the emails constantly.
