Handling Cancelled Auction Purchase
Buyer requested cancellation. What happens if I decline request under false premise? What happens if I approve but do not check ‘relist’? What’s the right process/format for making 2nd bidder offers? Also, can I leave bad bidder a review if I approve request for cancellation?

Mentor8 months agoIf you decline the buyer's request to cancel and you ship the item, the buyer can later file a returns request for Item Not as Described. You will end up having to provide a prepaid shipping label for the item's return. Cheaper to file the cancellation as Buyer requested. You can then make a Second Chance Offer to any underbidder if they have opted in to receiving SCO. Or you can relist using Sell Similar. Sellers have not been able to leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers for many years now.
