hand delivery / payment from eBay

Question

My buyer paid for shipping but we decided that I could hand deliver the item instead (and more easily). How do I notify eBay so I can get paid?

Since you used a different delivery method than the one the buyer selected when they purchased all you can do is mark it as shipped on the order. The option is in the drop down menu for the item on your orders page.

If this should happen again the way to handle it is to cancel the sale using problem with buyer's address and relist the item with the correct shipping method for them to repurchase. With local pick up the buyer receives a QR code and a digit code that the seller enters into the eBay APP as proof of delivery.

Since you do not have proof of delivery your funds will be released, if the buyer does not make a return or refund claim, after the full hold time.
