hand deliver a sold item
I prefer to hand deliver a sold item. The address of the buyer is within a reasonable distance and I would prefer not to ship it because it is fragile. I have had a buyer pick up furniture at my house so I assume it is possible to deliver too.

Check with your buyer. The buyer may not want guests.
A hand delivery is like a local pickup. If the buyer is agreeable, you can cancel the sale and relist with Local Pickup Only so that the buyer can repurchase and get a QR pickup code from eBay. This also eliminates the need to provide a tracking number, while also removing the delivery charge. When you deliver the item, the buyer would provide you with the QR code to enter into the mobile app as "proof of pickup" (or delivery, in your case).
If you don't have the mobile app, or if the buyer can't find the QR code, or if the buyer agrees to move forward with the existing order, then you are back to this method:
Print out a copy of the buyer's purchase. When you hand over the item, have the buyer sign the order as proof they have received the item. It is additionally helpful if the buyer can send an eBay message to you acknowledging receipt, or if the buyer can leave feedback. This will serve as your delivery confirmation.

Mentor2 years ago@vickieddi You need to contact the buyer and ask if this is ok with them. Then you cancel the sale as problem with buyers address. Refund the buyer. Relist as Local Pick Up.
This is the only way that your buyer will receive a QR code or 6 digit code that you can enter into the app for tracking proof of delivery.
If you don't list as local pick up you'll have no proof of delivery and funds will be held longer.
