I’m hoping to see if anyone else has experienced this or knows what might be happening. I called eBay support, but after being transferred multiple times, each agent gave me a different answer.
I’ve been selling on eBay for about 6 months, and my payouts have consistently been released 2 days after item delivery. I always purchase shipping labels directly through eBay, so tracking uploads automatically.
This week, several payouts that were scheduled to release on the 19th were suddenly pushed back to the 24th. Since then, all new sales are being held for 7 days after delivery instead of 2.
A few key details about my account:
Account Standing: Above Standard with zero restrictions or policy violations.
Feedback: Positive feedback with no recent negative reviews.
Notifications: I received no email or inbox notification from eBay explaining a hold status change.
Has anyone run into a sudden, unannounced shift in payout holds like this? Any insights on what might have triggered it would be greatly appreciated.
