hacked account/password
I just want to make sure I did everything I needed to do. I received and email around 3am telling me my account had been accessed by an unrecognized device (even though I was certain I had two way verification). I immediately changed the password when I was up at 5am. Later in the day, I received a notification on my phone app that my item had sold for $1000, and I knew I didn't have anything on there listed for $1000. I immediately canceled the order with the only option that made sense of this item no longer in stock or available. I'm pretty sure with an immediate cancellation, the victim (buyer) should not have to wait long for resolution, and the money will never hit my bank account. I contacted the buyer immediately via message and apologized that my account was hacked and I never had that item for sale. I checked my listings, and found about 5 listings for multi-thousand dollar air purifiers. I ended them all with the option of no longer available for sale. I wish ebay had an option of "my account was hacked, I never listed this f***ing thing" but they don't. With my new password in place, I went to check all of my payment accounts and my business checking account is STILL the account listed for payment as well as the few CC's and Debit cards I use for purchases. I didn't see any other strange accounts listed in my payment methods. Do you think I covered all the necessary bases? Am I missing something that may still have me vulnerable? TIA
