Hacked account on ebay.com
I am a UK member since 2003, recently I have been trying to correspond and buy a book from a US seller but my messages are being sent from another user - Chayo6800 from the UK since 2021, using my personal details. The seller thinks that I am this user and I cannot reply using my legitimate username.
As soon as I try to use Ebay.com it switches to this user.
I have been hacked but I'm not sure how to rectify this.
Any advice?

Try signing out of this account here and then sign back in to your original eBay account on ebay.co.uk or ebay.com using your original username and password.

OP2 years agoYes sorry to confuse, I wrote this message not realising I was in Ebay.com and therefore it is being sent from the hacked account. I will proceed to follow your tip of signing out.
