How do I get proof from ebay that my payment didn't go through but debit card is showing payment deducted

-The first place to check on your eBay account is your Purchase history to see if the transaction is there: Purchases | My eBay | eBay
If it is not there then you may have inadvertently purchased as a Guest. Read about that here, you need to be Logged OUT of your account to do anything with a Guest purchase.
The email you received should have a link for you and this Help page will assist you as well: Buying as a guest | eBay
On a side note, Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account nor can you leave Feedback on the transaction.
