Gun Optics not showing in searches
I created 5 listings yesterday for traditional gun optics: 2 red-dot, 2 normal scopes, and a reflex scope. None of these appear to be violating the “assault weapon†accessory ban. There are already many active listing from other sellers that have similar or even the exact items for sale. Although, I do concede that the red-dots (Aimpoint Red Dots) are used by the assault weapon crowd, but they are not specific to that market.
2 of them are actual Airgun specific optics, and still not showing in searches.
I also have noted that there are active sales from other sellers of “surplus†red dot scopes that were definitely military issue used on real assault weapons, and those listings are active without issue.
It’s been over 12 hours since these have been listed, so maybe these items are subject to extended review? 2 Items are on auction, so I wasting days if I’m having to wait for review.
Am I in violation of some rule I’m unaware of?
I am in Michigan, but I’ve used my VPN is search from “other†state to see if that makes a difference, but no difference.
Thanks for the help!

OP1 year agoTo follow up, these 2 items (not my listings) were 100% mounted and used on military assault weapons, but listing allowed:

The heavy use and the “blacked out†graphics are the tell of their intended use.
Mine are consumer use, with clear white lettering.
To be clear: I have no objection to these listings being active, just looking for a consistent application of the rules.
