Guidance Please!
A seller advertised a new phone in a sealed box that I purchased. However, they sent me a box that was clearly opened before as it was glued shut. I reached out and sent pictures, they initially agreed to the return and issued the return label the day after. Today they then sent a message declining my refund, stating that they won’t refund my money as the serial numbers in the picture of the phone box are “mismatched†with the one they have on file that they sent. This is totally outrageous and at this point I believe intentional on their part. Now that they accepted my refund in the system, I can’t access the page to ask for eBay to advocate for me. Does anyone know the best course of action in this situation? So far, I can’t find an email for eBay’s customer service.
