Guest Purchases
Recommend you never purchase from ebay as a guest because I did not have access to my password.
If you have an account they can't tract it as a guest even if you used your same email address.
Pity the guest that purchases anything because you have no recourse.
Contacting seller is a 'Catch 22'.
Contacting ebay automated assistance is quintessential black hole.
I have made a couple purchases from ebay thru may account without problems.
My experience as a guest makes me question their whole business.

Any details regarding an Ebay purchase as a guest cannot be accessed by an Ebay account.
Find the Order Confirmation from Ebay in your email and click on "Order Details".

Mentor2 years ago@carrolan6 I do agree that it's best to log into your eBay account to make a purchase, it's much easier and your purchased item goes right in your purchase history.
Here's the info you need on how to file a guest purchase claim>
If you made the purchase using a guest account it will not be in your purchase history.
Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:

Then you can start a refund request, track your order, or contact the seller, from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.
