Guest Purchase -- Return

Question

I completed a guest purchase of two remotes. I have successfully had the return of one remote accepted, but am unable to access the details or shipping label as I keep running into a log-in request.

I have an Ebay account but didn't have the log-in info when I purchased, so I did a guest purchase.

Can I connect a guest order to my established account?

Your guest order is completely separate from your Ebay account.

You cannot use your Ebay account to handle a Return Request on an purchase you made as a guest.

You need to sign out of your Ebay account and find the Order Confirmation email that Ebay sent you when you made the purchase.

Select View order details in your order confirmation email.
Select Return item.
Select your reason for the return and select Next.
You can add a message to the seller and also upload up to 10 photos showing the item's condition.
Select Confirm return.

You can't connect the guest purchase to your account. You can get help with the order.

To start a return request or report a problem with an item you bought as a guest, you'll need your order confirmation email. This is the email eBay sent at the time of your purchase with all your order details. The subject line starts with "Order Confirmed".

If you don't have that email, you can request another copy of the order confirmation email on this page:

LOG OUT OF YOUR eBay Account first, then

Once you have the email, you can follow the process on the above page to talk to the seller.

1) Select View order details in your order confirmation email.

2) Select Item Not Received

3) Follow the steps

You can also open a return request (to get a return label)

1) Select View order details in your order confirmation email.

2) Select Return item.

3) Select your reason for the return and select Next.

4) You can add a message to the seller and also upload up to 10 photos showing the item's condition.

Select Confirm return.
