Guest order not found error

Question

Hello, this is my very 1st buying on ebay. i am trying to start a return, i bought it as a guest i did not create an account. I am having a hard time doing the process. I already read all the instructions, when i click on "order details" on my confirmation email, i get an error message that says order not found, how am i supposed to start a return then?

Guest purchases are not connected to your eBay account. For help with a guest purchase, first sign out of your eBay account, then use the "order details" link in the email you received from eBay, or else right click on the link and choose to open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
