When a seller misrepresents an item, and refuses to cooperate, how can you contact someone to assist in getting a refund? We purchased a item and can get nowhere with the sellerâ€¦

Open a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.

I attempted that, but it was closed without our consentâ€¦ In the 20+ years we have used eBay,

this has never happened.

An Item Not as Described return only closes if you close it or let it expire, otherwise ebay forces a refund. You need to now request the refund through the payment processor.
