Guarantee
I'm looking at two different electronic items. Both items are sold as new and in original factory boxes: an iPod and a docking station.
These items date in the mid to late 2000s.
It's a possibility that one (maybe both) may not function for no reason other than due to their age.
If that happens, what are my options?
Thanks.

If the listings state that the items are in working condition but they do not work when you receive them, you can file a Return Request.

OP2 years agoThat's good to know. However, these items are advertised as in the original factory boxes. It would be impossible to know if they actually work without the seller removing them and testing them.
I doubt Apple will warranty these items.
On my part, it's an assumption they work properly.
Thoughts?

If they were advertised as New- in working condition, then you can file a Refund Request if they don't work.
