Ground Advantage service question
I recently sent out a package to Guam. Unknowingly, I picked ground advantage because it showed a timeliness of arrive 13 days or less from my location in the US. Well. apparently th there are contradictions as I just found out when I inquired about the package when it exceeded the estimated arrival date and running later than usual notice. ISPS told me that it takes 6 to 8 weeks (2 months) for packages to arrive because it is an island even though part of US territory.
I tried getting a hold of ebay phone number. But can't find it. I have the package covered under insurance shipcover. But if the timeliness according to USPS now changes to 8 weeks from 2 weeks estimated arrival, can I file the insurance? I am planning to just refund the buyer. But I don't know what to do. 13 days vs 8 weeks is a huge difference.

OP2 years agoOh. Forgot to mention I called USPS and opened a case that was marked as resolved with the answer of 6 to 8 weeks and how it may be circulating on a ship. But since they answered so.e kind of answe, uses closed the case. I called this morning and they reopened the case.

Mentor2 years agoYeah...when you put in an inquiry, they send it to the receiving (usually)post office. Someone there looks at the tracking, tells you it's still on the way and closes the case. It's almost useless.

Mentor2 years agoThe USPS website shows about a week for ground advantage. That doesn't mean that it might not take a little longer. What is tracking showing you?

OP2 years agoTracking says it is running a little late but still on the way. It is 3 days past the estimated delivery date.
