Grifters gonna grift
There are many decent sellers, but just as many grifters. It is sad that eBay could care less because their profit is ALL that matters. Like I purchased an item that said "Expedited Shipping". The day of the purchase, there was a tracking number. but for one whole week there was zero update, only that the seller had shared a tracking, the shipper did not have the item. One week later I receive an excuse about health to try and get sympathy for lack of care. It FINALLY was in the shipper's hands, but with zero expedited shipping. Now a week and a half after the order, there is still zero movement by the shipper. I will give bad feedback but it won't matter. eBay does not care. This is why I seldom purchase anything on eBay. It is sad because eBay could be so much more if it just held people accountable.

That's an assumption and, in my opinion, an unwarranted one. It seems intuitive that eBay would prefer happy customers; if for no other reason, happy customers are more likely to come back. eBay has 18 million sellers, and there's no possible way the company could pay individual attention routinely to each one 24/7. eBay gives buyers the means to report sellers, and the Money Back Guarantee which is heavily weighted in favor of the buyer.
By the way, the correct turn of phrase is "could not care less" ... think about it. If someone could care less, that means that they do care some. If they could not care less, that means that they care zero.

Ebay has Buyer Protections in cases like this. If it is past the estimated delivery date, you would need to open an Item Not Received case so eBay can help you. The Seller is required to respond to this case. Opening the case alerts eBay you are having an issue with a Seller.
