If the Buyer sent you an official offer because you had Offers turned ON on the Auction you can process it on that page. Once you Accept the offer eBay sends the invoice for the Buyer to pay.
You can also turn Auto-pay ON for your Offer flow on this page near the bottom: Buyer Management | eBay
I know eBay added the Offer feature to Auctions but quite honestly, I would encourage your Buyers to bid on the auctions and not use the Offer process. It defeats the purpose of the price potentially going up on an Auction. Your starting Auction price needs to be high enough that if you sell the item on ONE bid you make your profit. I sell a lot Auction style, NEVER use Offers on them and NEVER use the Reserve price because eBay charges a fee for that.
If the Buyer just messaged you offering less then message them back and let them know they are welcome to bid on the Auction. Messaged offers are NOT official offers.
I personally never end my auctions early because most of the bidding action happens in the last hour/ minutes and I could be leaving money on the table. Also, eBay frowns on ending auctions early as it disappoints your other bidders.
In my experience buyers want to end an auction early for one of two reasons.
#1 They are afraid that the bidding will go higher.
#2 They are going to try and scam you.
If you are ending an auction with bids you will be charged a fee based on the highest bid. There has to be more than 12 hours left or you MUST sell to the current high bidder at the auction price that is showing.
You can see the full rules and select your item on this page to End it:
