GOT CHARGED INTERNATIONAL FEE BECAUSE SELLER HAS OUT OF COUNTRY ADDRESS????
I don't sell internationally however when a necklace recently sold I got socked with another fee called "international fee" because ebay says the seller's addreas is in another country. However, the package address was in the U.S. and this isn't one of ebay's portals where they ship overseas, so what is the deal? It's over $5.00 and that plus ebay's fee really hit!

This happens when an international buyer uses a package forwarding service. You are only responsible for the item arriving safely to the US address. If the buyer files a not as described return request then you are only required to provide a return shipping label from the US address. Reshipping voids the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Mentor1 year agoWhen a buyer has a registered address outside of the USA you are charged this fee even if they have the item delivered to a USA address. The fee has to do with the currency exchange handling of the International payment.
