Got 2 policy violations in a row for listings and I didn't violate policy.
Why do I get policy violations for contact sharing when I didn't do it? It has happened twice in a row. Never before. How can I resolve the problem when I don't know what's wrong or if it is some malfunction on the ebay side?
I appealed in both cases. The first was quickly reversed by them. Still waiting on the second (listed the second one last night).
All I can think of--in both cases I included a web site with information about the piece (Wikipedia entry in one case). Both were the actual links--not shortened URLs. Neither were personal sites nor had personal info. I removed both links anyway. Didn't make a difference.
It's annoying. I rush to list and then the listing gets hidden by ebay. If I inadvertently erred, their message is unclear as to where the error is and surely they have the technology to be more specific. I sell on another site, too, and never had this problem.
