GONE WITH THE WIND dolls removed for violation of offensive material policy - anyone know why?
My listing for GONE WITH THE WIND character dolls was removed for violation of offensive material policy. There are tons of similar dolls currently listed. Anyone have any idea why?

Just to warn you, it is highly possible that eBay will remove the listing again once you change the name as discussed in other posts here. If they do then please post back here about that.

OP3 years agoThanks for the tip. I don't understand why there are literally hundreds of similar postings for the same product. Crazy.

Mentor3 years ago@member6106763 We see that time and time again where one Seller has something removed while many others are active for sale. As @evry1nositswindy mentioned it could be the name or someone may have reported your item, etc. I have had a few things taken down over the years (that did not violate policy) and the advice I was given was to never try listing them again ... I took that advice and simply sold the items elsewhere.

OP3 years agoThanks for that. I have been selling for many years and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. No - I lie. I tried to sell some empty Cuban cigar boxes once - nope. I will take advantage of your experience and just list these dolls on Mercari or Poshmark, etc.

Mentor3 years ago@member6106763 Good plan, they are not worth risking a temporary suspension (or longer one).

Mentor3 years agoNo problem. Maybe use her real name Hattie McDaniel.

OP3 years agoGood suggestion. Anyone familiar with the movie will know who she is. Thanks,

OP3 years agoAh-ha. I did use the word Mammy for the Mammy doll - didn't even think about it. I guess I will need to find another way to describe her. Thanks.
