what should I do with my listings? should I end the listings then reactivate them when I get back?

If you will be gone 30 days or less I suggest Time Away

Best Offers are not covered by Time Away

eBay's "Time Away" feature will allow you to suspend sales or lengthen shipping time. With Time Away you can schedule the days you will be not there and you will not need to ship until you return.

• If you allow item sales, your time away can be up to 15 days
• If you pause item sales, your time away can be up to up to 30 days

Do not send or accept any Best Offers while on time away, you would have to ship them on time.

Check and end any automatic offers

Click the boxes beside the offers you want to end

Click End Automation in the upper right (it appears after you have selected one or more listings)

If you need more than 30 days, log in and keep adding 30 days.

If you instead END your listings, they will disappear in 90 days. With Time Away, your listings are there ready when you return.
