RED Wing boots I sold. I felt the shipping was high even with Ebays discount, $29, then I noticed the label said Priority shipping instead of ground advantage like I selected. When I looked at the listing it said the buyer chose Priority. I charged $10 flat fee shipping to offset a little but even with that it took a big chunk off my earnings. Any way to prevent the buyer from choosing his own shipping or at least get a warning that they chose a more expensive option?

Buyer chose $10 Priority because that is what YOU listed as the shipping option. Buyers can ONLY choose options that YOU put on the listing.

Buyers can choose from the shipping methods you offer on the listing. So you must have offered both Ground advantage and Priority Mail or just Priority Mail. Buyers cannot choose a shipping method outside of what you are offering.
