Glaring double standard with my listing that was flagged as offensive.
Food for thought. My Charleston slave tag listing was removed for being "offensive." How about the massive amount of Nazi and SS memorabilia and artifacts that are bought and sold daily here? my guess is that Ebay makes way too much money on that front to risk offending a thriving white supremacist community online. What's "offensive" to me is watching Ebay pick and choose what part of history they don't want to look at.

eBay has banned almost all Nazi and SS memorabilia … leaving only certain books and stamps allowed to be listed. I do not believe there is a ‘massive’ amount of Nazi memorabilia being ‘bought and sold daily’ on eBay … and eBay certainly isn’t encouraging it to be
listed. It simply isn’t true, and I hope you are reporting any Nazi listings that you discover.
I’m sorry you feel your ‘slave tag’ shouldn’t have been banned from eBay. There probably are websites where you can list it, but I’m personally not familiar with them.
[I’ve never seen much value in quibbling over the relative ‘offensiveness’ of Nazism vs. slavery. Both seem to have far exceeded the threshold of human decency… and are equally censored by eBay.

OP5 months agoAlso Ebay states that they don't allow Nazi listings but a simple search shows thousands so I don't understand how so many are getting around that policy.
