Gimmie a break
If I'm not getting spammed multiple time each visit to install the ebay app I'm getting prompted to leave feedback on items that have not yet arrived or that were just delivered minutes ago and have not had the time to get to the mailbox much less look at it and leave feedback.
And more likely than not that item is from a Seller that waited two weeks to ship something I paid for up front and they ordered from Amazon.
I know you don't want to hear it, you blocked me from sending you this as feedback.
I can block you at my email box and don't have to shop here. Get it straight.

Mentor2 years agoIf you are using a desktop browser and you are bothered by that app offer pop-up, see here for an option using an ad blocking rule to block it:

Feedback reminders are generated automatically based on your own Communication Preferences. You have control over whether you receive those reminders, so if they annoy you, you can do something about that as well.
If you do not want to receive orders from sellers that ship from Amazon you will likely have to take some affirmative steps to identify which sellers show signs of shipping from Amazon and actively avoid buying from them.
If you just want to vent about your frustrations with eBay you are certainly welcome to do that here, but keep in mind that this is a user forum -- meaning that eBay is not here, the folks that read and respond here are volunteers that can answer questions or offer suggestions but that can't actually change how eBay works.

You're posting on a community board. eBay is not here. You're correct that eBay sends feedback requests prematurely. That doesn't mean you have to act on it. Just do what other members do when they receive unwanted email and delete it.

OP2 years agoI'm posting on a community board hosted by ebay on their domain. Look at the URL.
While you're at it, look up the meaning of "irritating" and that will define the feeling derived from the actions described. For me.
If you don't find them as such? Great. That's you and you should continue responding as you have been by "just deleting" them.
But do not tell me how I should react. It's "annoying".
