Gift Cards

Question

I’m trying to use my eBay gift card. Every time I enter the code into my account to try to add the gift card, it says;”invalid code.. renter” how does this work!? Am I even using the right code? Moreover, I don’t see the gift card in my payout account..,

eBay gift cards don’t show up in your payout balance, so that part is normal

You can use it at checkout, or try adding it here first

If it keeps saying invalid code, double check you’re entering the actual redemption code and not the order or receipt number, and watch for small mix ups like 0 and O or 1 and I

Also where did you buy it from? If it was from a place like Target, sometimes the card isn’t fully activated yet or something went wrong on their side

If it still doesn’t work, reach out to eBay support with the code and receipt and they can check it for you
