Gift card payment no lo ger accepted
Now that ebay makes you autopay for anything they no longer take gift cards. Why cant you place bids and pay with gift cards? Ebay auto charges paypal now and does not even have gift card as a paying option.

Too many users were bidding and then not paying, so eBay let each seller choose whether to require a payment method in advance before allowing a bid or offer.
Not all sellers require a payment method in advance. You may still have the opportunity to enter a gift card number rather than a credit card for an offer, depending on several factors. And eBay may make further changes to the way bids or offers are made to add more options.
eBay gift cards can still be used to pay for buy-it-now items.
If you do not want PayPal to be your default payment method for auction bids, go here and delete the entry that corresponds to that payment method:

That should allow you to choose a new payment method the next time one is required.
