Mentor3 years agoThe only way to connect an eBay gift card to your account is to use the gift card at checkout to pay for a purchase. Any remaining balance will appear on the checkout page with a box to check to apply it to a future purchase.
Not all categories can be purchased using gift cards, and there are limits to the numbers and amounts that can be spent in a transaction, a day or a month.
