OP3 years agoThanks I got scammed into buying them after I got spooked about my social number involved in several accounts with thousands in charges. Went to the wire with scammer until they wanted the 5 gift card numbers, I didn't comply with that and had them live as I talked to police. Used 4 cards for brand new auto parts and can shop at my leisure with remaining card.

Why are you needing so many gift cards?
Have you read eBay’s help page covering gift card use? There are limits to the number of gift cards one can use and for what purchases.
The following questions, just because there are so very many scams involving gift cards.
What did you buy?
On what website did you discover this seller?
Are you sending gift card codes through email or text messages?
Are you paying when you call them on the phone?
Gift cards are like cash. Untraceable.
