Mentor2 years agoIt can take up to four hours from purchase for gift cards to be fully activated and show the balance.
If it has been longer than that and you still do not see a balance or you cannot use the card, take the card and receipt back to the retailer where it was purchased to make sure the card was activated correctly.
Once a gift card is used the first time to make a purchase on eBay, any remaining balance should be linked to the eBay account and should appear as a line item at checkout with a box to check to apply it to a purchase.
