gift card
I purchased a gift card and put the money on there and sent it to a friend. I check to make sure the money was on there and it was but when i sent it to my friend the money was not on there. How can I get the money back and I need to contact someone about this. What can I do?

Was this an eBay gift card? How did you check if there was money on the card?

OP1 year agoYes, it was an ebay gift card. I was emailed a code with a number to check the balance and I pulled it up and checked and it was there.

eBay has recently changed how gift cards work; checking the balance now requires linking the card to an account. Check your account to see if you have linked the card to your own eBay account.

OP1 year agoOk, I didn't know that. I never linked my card to my ebay account.
