I received 9 tapes as a gift, the first 3 already have skips in them, would like to get a hold of the seller but I did not buy it,Have his name??

That complicates things. She'll have to work with the seller about the return and explain the situation. If they were sent directly to you, then she should be able to open an item not as described case and get a return label which she can email to you and then you can send them back.

You'll need to give the tapes to whoever gave you the gift so they can request a return. They will need all the tapes.
