getting the right label
hi ive noticed when you get a return lable they send a return lable to take and use at the post office..around here these regular post office labels cause they cant scan them..no scanner.its like this all over here in nj..
does anyone else have this issue?

OP2 years agoits a record and you can use records with media mail..

Mentor2 years ago@earlburtnett. That's fine but you are still going to have to contact customer service since the tracking is not in the case.
Since you were issued a label by eBay you can't add the new tracking number to the return case yourself.

OP2 years agoI went to a couple of post offices and they couldn’t print it..I think it means eBay won’t pay for returns…if you want to return something your
on your own…

Mentor2 years ago@earlburtnett You still didn't answer my question so it's making it hard for me to offer the best advice as a volunteer.
If your post office doesn't offer QR label printing ( the one that looks like a puzzle, not lines) then you need to print the label at home, a friends house, or the library by selecting PRINT and not a QR code that you show the post office on your phone.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

OP2 years agoit might be easier to just send it out media mail..their making it very hard.. thanks for advice

Mentor2 years ago@earlburtnett. You would be violating usps policy if you use Meda Mail unless it's an item that qualifies such as a book or DVD
The package may not even reach the seller.
