Getting stuck with abandoned merchandise: no Ebay contact help topic to go by.
Four months ago I purchased a used, specialty camera that, although it appeared fine physically, was severely defective electronically. This sale had a refund option. I timely took this option so I am not out any money, but I am stuck with a rather heavy piece of junk. Although it has been months, the Seller has not arranged to have picked up and sold for parts. How long do I have to hold on to this useless camera before it is legally considered abandoned and I can either throw it away or try to sell it for parts-only myself?

As soon as you were refunded you could have disposed of the item.
