Getting paid selling a car on eBay motors
I've sold a car and eBay says the buyer has paid, but it also only shows the deposit has been paid. When or how do I determine when the remainder has been paid?

Only the deposit is paid through eBay. The balance of the transaction is handled by Secure Purchase. You should have info from them - probably a message in your eBay messages or an email.

OP8 months agoYes. That’s what I understand. But it’s confusing when the eBay motors page says it’s paid and I should ship the car. But when I click the “See sale details†button? And it takes me to transaction.drivecarmel.com page, there is no check mark next to “Full seller payment sentâ€.
So you see the confusion. There is disagreement as to whether he has paid or not. According to the buyer he has paid the full amount through secure purchase, but I don’t see that on my end!

I have never sold a car, so I on't have any first hand knowledge of these pages.
On the drive carmel page, are other boxes that are checked? 'full seller payment sent' sounds like them paying you, not the buyer per them. Is there another indication of buyer payment?
