Getting paid buyer paid shipping fees when using your own labels
Summary: simplify*sale posted a query about receiving payments for shipping fees when they use their own shipping labels. The discussion did not provide additional insights, as comics-scifi-collectibles also posted without content, leaving simplify*sale's question unresolved.
so I noticed recently that I have not been paid any money not one penny on any of my shipping paid for by buyer when I used my own shipping label Ebay has not sent me any money towards the shipping. They did last year for a few of the deals and that was it stopped and I got out to do my accounting and noticed I’ve not been paid one penny in over a dozen deals over $100. I paid value fees paid for my labels in AI here tells me to go in and purchase the labels and then void them to flag that I need to be paid so now they’ve got my bank account all jammed up with all these label charges. I cannot get anybody’s response and it’s going on a week now this is careless privacy concern in my eyes as I was able to go in after a item it’s been delivered and print another label and they charge me for it. I’ve uploaded all my tracking all my sales show that the customer has received it and the deal is done, but I can’t get through to Ebay to pay me my shipping collected from the buyer on these deals after they of course already got their money on their value fees. I don’t know what else to do here

Yes you can cancel a label that has not been used but it takes about 3 weeks to get refund from the shipping carrier as that is who has your money after you buy a shipping label. You can't cancel used labels.
eBay may have you pay for your shipping labels one of two ways....
1. You front the money for the label and use your back up payment method for selling costs, or PayPal. The buyers payment for shipping is then included in your payout.
2. eBay allows you to use Pending funds that have not been paid out yet to pay for your shipping label. This means that your payout will NOT include the buyers payment for shipping as you already used it.
Keep in mind that EACH payout can cover more than one transaction.
Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions.
If you click PayOut ID here, it will have a complete breakdown of that Payout:

From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
There is a nice video on this page about how to find your fees: https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-and-payments/seller-fees/
Here is a help page where you can learn about selling fees:
