Getting paid after refunding a lost item that has now arrived.
I shipped an item on June 22. It was seemingly lost… ups could not locate. Buyer wanted a refund as they were going on a trip and needed to purchase replacement item. On July 18, the item finally arrived. Buyer wants to return item. Am I obliged to pay return shipping? Can they be compelled to pay for the item they’ve now received?

The buyer can not be forced to repay the refund, or to return the item. If you want the item returned, you should provide a return shipping label.
You can create a label at pirateship.com, and print it to a jpeg file. Send the jpeg to the buyer in an eBay message.
