Getting paid
I am new to selling on EBay. Twice I have listed an item for auction and both times the buyers have ghosted me and not paid. Is this common on this site?

It is more common in certain categories like electronics and with new Sellers.
Buyers have four days to the minute to pay. EBay sends them reminders. After exactly four days have past, be sure to cancel for "Buyer didn't pay". That will cause a serious strike on their account.
Also, if you go to your Account Settings>Buyer Management, there is a tiny box there to check so your Buyers will need to have a payment method on file to place a bid.
