Getting paid
in my 25 years of selling on eBay, I have never had as many no pays or late pays with numerous reminders. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Mentor2 years agoI get very few buyers who do not pay, and I allow my buyers up to 10 days to pay.
ebay is currently asking buyers for a payment method when they use Best Offer or place a bid, and will automatically use that payment method if the Best Offer is accepted or the buyer ends up the winner of the auction. ebay is doing this to try and decrease the number of unpaid transactions.
If the buyer has not paid by day 4, on day 5 the seller can file a Cancellation with the reason Buyer didn't pay. The seller gets his/her FVF credited, the buyer gets an unpaid strike recorded on his account, no one can leave feedback. Two or more unpaid strikes, and the buyer will find it difficult to bid/buy from sellers who block buyers with 2 or more unpaid strikes. Do you have your Buyer Blocks in place?

OP2 years agoThank you. I am not allowing buyers to have 10 days to pay. I will go with the maximum of 4. That just keeps your product hostage. Thank you for your thoughts.
