Getting my money back
How do I get my money back from a product I purchased. It’s been over 30 days because it was a pre-order then the seller put a time away for a week. eBay won’t help with this issue so I was wondering if someone else had a similar problem and could help me.

Mentor3 years agoWhen it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.

OP3 years agoI knew all that but if it’s a pre sale item they should take that into account. That just tells me I can put up items under pre sale 45 days before release date get everyone’s money and not answer any messages and keep the money with no problems

No, there is nothing that tells you that at all. Sellers are not allowed to list pre-sale items unless they can ship within 30 days. The 30 days must be built into their handling time which is built into the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, and they must disclose that the item is pre-sale in the listing.

·3 years agoPerhaps you might want to not buy any more items that the seller says are "presale" since they apparently don't have the item at the time they post the listing.
