getting help on ebay
I have a technical question and can't find a way to reach an Ebay rep to ask about it (I don't tweet)
Here is the problem: I used to be able to click on a sold item and go to the original listing. This a useful tool for selling similar objects - now I get redirected to current item, a useless item. For example, if I search for a 1954 Topps Aaron baseball card, I get dozens of hits, but if I click on one, instead of going to the original listing, I get redirected to an active 1998 reproduction - that is wrong in so many ways, especially consider that one sellers advantage over all other sellers-

Mentor3 years agoAre you using a browser or the app? Mobile, classic or desktop mode?
You should be able to reach the original listing through a sold item link, if the original item is still listed. You may have to follow a link at the top of the new listing. If the original listing has been removed, you will not be able to find it, however.

Mentor3 years agoIt might also be which browser. Using Safari on my iPad, I run into this - not being able to navigate to the sold item, but never have this issue using Firefox on my desktop Mac.
