Getting help from eBay
Hi All,
Appreciate some direction here: I purchased a used phone from an eBay seller (with 98% positive reviews and over 60k transactions). The phone worked fine for four months, but then was reported "lost or stolen" (probably by the original owner), and the account was suspended. Our carrier advised us to ask the seller to fix this.
I did contact the seller, and they agreed to process a return, but since the purchase was more than 90 days ago, there is no facility on the eBay site to do this. The seller said, "contact eBay to send you our shipping information since we are not authorized to share it through messages."
I have tried convincing the eBay chat assistant to let me speak with an eBay agent, but it remains unconvinced. Is there any way to get in touch with an eBay agent if you haven't made a purchase in the last 90 days? I appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

The seller will not be able to refund through eBay since it is past the 90 day mark.
I would call your credit card issuer and ask them to open a dispute for the purchase. eBay can provide the return address info to your card issuer who can give it to you, unless they recommend that you not ship an item known to be stolen property.
